Moving On

One of the best things about Madison is the talent that it attracts. The world-class university brings in the greatest minds, educates them, and then sends them out into the world.  Moving on from Madison is a necessity in the cycle, and yet these years, this time will always stay with them.

Lisa and Thomas married, Thomas completed his mind-blowing mathematic (to put lightly) certification, Lisa got her MD, and Sophie was brought into this world–and who can forget throwing COVID in the mix? Bleary-eyed late nights, from newborn rocking to textbooks, to sunshine-filled strolls in the woods near Lake Mendota are a mere fraction of the memories held in this space.

It’s important to remember this time isn’t defined by stillness.

Madison misses them already! Moving on is rarely easy, but I send my best wishes on the new adventure!

Here is Lisa’s experience with working with me:

5 star review for Jen Lucas Photography

We had the most wonderful experience working with Jen. She made my husband, I, and our baby girl feel very comfortable and really took the time to take beautiful, in the moment pictures of our day-to-day life. Jen is extremely talented, kind, and actually made our photography session very enjoyable. Our baby book turned out better than I had hoped for and we are thrilled for our child to one day be able to appreciate these lovely memories that Jen was able to capture for us. We have given some of the printed pictures to our families and they loved the pictures as well! I highly recommend Jen to anyone interested in very high quality, beautiful pictures that you will remember for life!
