Quiet Summer Morning

Who remembers those early quiet mornings with a newborn at home? There is nothing else like this time. The sun rises, hovers above the home, sets. Sleeping, changing, eating all on repeat. The routines define this time.

My jaw dropped when I walked into the room. Seeing all the special touches parents make in their baby’s nursery is one of my favorite things.  I’m also in love with this wall color–sign me up for all things green and rainbows!

There is so much charting during these early days. Feedings, changing, timing–it’s impossible to keep track of while sleep deprived. Team work makes the dream work!
