Winter Pancakes in Middleton

Words of love from Gretchen:

I have one word for Jen: outstanding! Everything from the initial interaction, to the photo session, to the prints and pricing, to Jen herself exceeded our expectations.

Since I could go on about our experience with Jen, I’ll hit the highlights:

She is just a beautiful soul. Our kids immediately felt comfortable around her and we were able to be ourselves with her around, which is essential to getting good shots. We all were very at ease and natural and I didn’t feel the least bit bad that our house wasn’t uber clean or that I didn’t bother to coordinate clothing–in fact, Jen likes it better that way, and after seeing her work I totally agree.

The shots are simply amazing. I can’t stop staring at them and obnoxiously showing them to people. Not only are they just wonderful pictures, but Jen is so thoughtful that each shot really does tell a story and the composition of the photos is intriguing at the same time. There’s just a lot of depth to her work even though she shoots the everyday. The result is truly awesome pictures that remind you that your daily life is pretty darn spectacular (including those days where you definitely don’t think so!).

Everything was simple. Setting up the session, preparing for the session (which basically involves waking and getting dressed), participating in the session, reviewing the prints, ordering, and getting the final product was all as easy as it could possibly be. This is because Jen’s system itself is simple to use and convenient and because Jen is so accommodating.

I have loved every bit of our experience with Jen and can’t wait to hire her again.
